Oude Molstraat is one of the oldest historic streets in The Hague. Here you will find this charming house typical of the Hofkwartier neighbourhood. FINEO vacuum glazing was chosen for its renovation due to its exceptional and sustainable characteristics. As thin as single glazing, it could be easily integrated into the original old wooden frames. As efficient as triple glazing, it provides this building with exceptional thermal and acoustic insulation. Thanks to FINEO, this listed building now enjoys increased comfort and lower energy bills, while retaining its authentic charm.

For this project, FINEO Hybrid was used to reach unprecedent performances in terms of thermal insulation and acoustic. Belliard street is a highly frequented road, leading to unpleasant noise pollution. Thanks to FINEO Hybrid, it was possible to achieve very high acoustical attenuation in a limited thickness, allowing to increase the space inside the building.

The Hanins de Moerkerke mansion is a superb example of typical Flemish architecture. For its restoration, Monument Vandekerckhove chose FINEO by AGC vacuum glazing to replace the original single glazing. FINEO by AGC is vacuum insulating glazing that is as thin as single glazing but offers the insulation performance of triple glazing. Thanks to this strategic choice, this superb historic monument was able to retain its original wooden frames and only change the glazing. The building now enjoys increased thermal and acoustic comfort while retaining its authentic charm.
